For those of you who follow this blog, since the beginning of this year, I have been trying to pack on some extra muscle and was going to the gym 4-5 days a week. Well those times are now gone and I am sad that throughout the entire month of July, I went to the gym a whopping 2 times. So clearly, my body has already started to see some major changes.
Basically, most things on my body shrunk. My arm, neck, shoulders, back, chest, and legs are a much smaller version of their former self. However, two things have gotten bigger. One being my ass, which isnt always a bad thing. The other being my stomach. I am starting to form that sexy malnourished look which can be easily confused with pregnancy. I swear if I didnt have a beard, people would ask me how far along I was. Sad really.
Now that the beach has come and gone, my determination to go to the gym so frequently has diminished. I just no longer feel like going. I would much rather go home, take a nice nap and eat some cookie dough ice cream. I tell myself that is more beneficial for my health than going to the dirty old gym.
Hopefully I can drag myself to gym at least a few times this week. Starting tomorrow of course. I only have a little wee bit of ice cream left, so I have to eat it before it goes bad. Well, thats my excuse for today anyways.

I'm finding it more and more difficult to drag myself to the gym. My doctor wants me to lose 10 lbs. by October, which should be easy to do, but I can't find the motivation. So don't feel too bad; you're not the only one.
But I will try my damnedest because October is much closer than I thought.
You seem to be going through the exact same thing as me. I blogged about it a few days ago. Exact that for me, my beach stint is COMING up because I'll be going home to the Caribbean in 2 weeks!
I'm going in the morning though. Hopefully much easier to go before I start my day than to try to pack it in after work with so much stuff going on.
You can get so many germs/viruses from the gym. I keep telling my big man that but he insists we need to go.
